While I was in Walt Disney World in March, attending an Agent Education Program, I was able to tour and taste Splitsville in Downtown Disney.
Splitsville in a new venue - a bowling alley, lounge, and restaurant all in one. I wasn't sure what to expect of this place. Downtown Disney has been lacking a bit in entertainment and would a bowling alley really fit that bill????
But now after visiting, I can say with confidence, this place is fantastic!

| Located on the West Side of Downtown Disney |

| Main floor, there are a few lanes on this floor and more upstairs |
 |
| Main floor lanes |
 |
| Going up the escalator gives you some neat views! |
 |
| Upstairs are more lanes, pool tables and tables for the restaurant |
 |
| Gotta love the themed bowling balls! And yes, you can buy these! |
 |
| A few of the tables for the restaurant. I tried their nachos, pork sliders and pizza. All was delicious! |
 |
| Yes, this is an adult-focused space! I think you might be able to order a drink or two here... :) |
 |
| Gift shop on the main level |
 |
| The manager - great guy, very energetic and passionate about providing you with a great time! |
Splitsville has a total of 30 bowling lanes, there are two sushi bars (the sushi disappeared before I was able to try any!), live music, outdoor dining, billards and dancing. There is a LOT to do here!
They are not yet taking dining reservations. The food includes what I have already mentioned, plus steaks, salads and sandwiches. Kids Meals are available.
While I feel Splitsville is an adult-focused venue, they advertise themselves as completely family friendly. It's open until 1 or 2 AM depending on the day of the week, has the massive bar, live music, dancing, billards -- all items really for adult entertainment. However, at the same time, children are always welcome. Generally a family with small kids aren't going to be at Splitsville late night obviously but during the weekday this is a fantastic place for a family. My visit was near the dinner hour and there were several families with younger children bowling and enjoying the restaurant and at the same time, a young adult couple playing billards and a group of adult men bowling. The atmosphere late at night might change a bit, especially on the second floor with the bar.
Splitsville accepts the Disney Dining Plan and is 1 Table Service Credit. When you book a Walt Disney World vacation package (room + park tickets) in 2013, you will receive a coupon for 10% off food and merchandise. Splitsville also accepts Disney gift cards and Tables in Wonderland. You can charge to your Key to the World card (room charge) at Splitsville.

Splitsville also offers Priority Bowing which will allow your group to receive the next available lane upon check-in. Maximum of 2 lanes per group, 8 bowlers per lane with Priority Bowling. Priority Bowling is $80 per hour from 10 AM - 4 PM, and $125 per hour after 4 PM.

Splitsville makes an excellent rainy day activity, or if you've been to Disney a dozen times and want to enjoy trying something new. I don't think you'll be disappointed, I plan to take my family here on our next Walt Disney World vacation!Labels: Downtown Disney, food, Outside the Theme Parks, Walt Disney World
