Back in September Disney launched the Disney Cruise Line Navigator app for use while onboard the Disney Fantasy. I had the chance to use it and thought it was fantastic! Disney still puts the daily Navigator in your stateroom each evening so you know the events scheduled; however, now it's also right on your Android or iOS device!
Within this free app are all the events scheduled throughout your sailing, along with menus of the restaurants, deck plans and more. You can "favorite" various activities and access those in a quick list. I most often left the paper Navigator back in the stateroom as I found the app so much easier and faster to use.
This app is now available for both the Disney Fantasy and, as of today, the Disney Dream! Prior to your departure you can download the app and then connect to the ships wireless internet access once you are onboard. You can use the wireless internet for free for the app, so no crazy international roaming fees apply! You will not be able to access anything other than the app off the wireless internet without being charged hefty internet fees, so be sure to put your phone in Airplane mode with the wireless turned on to connect.
I suspect we will soon see the Disney Magic and Wonder added to the app as well!
